confronting fears
unbearable state

Fingers sliding down the walls
feeling crevices, like skin
cold lips, sinking ships

Not in darkness
don't drag me back in,
renouncing everything

Living paycheck to paycheck
trying to remain positive
learning to love myself again

Maybe one day
let the sun shine brightly again,
twirling umbrellas in the rain
