Giving it away for free
useless clutter like some albatross
kissing this white neck
watching dancing mites
colliding mid air
and I don't care

Wringing these words
turned insideout
until blood has spilled
not from some useless, inner guilt
that always manifests
when this body needs its rest

Colors randomly change
like seasons shedding skin
bulky overcoats reeking
of a certain smell of wet wool
that overpowers the senses
while the chastising rain drenches

Again I am utterly alone
with a silent cell phone
filled with staged pictures
of a certain smile
while deadened eyes release falsehoods
that humanity can only condemn
